ZuKlima – An Evening of Science, Music, and Collective Reflection
יום רביעי, 23 ביולי 2025
On July 18, zusammen leben e.V. hosted ZuKlima in zuka solicafé, a special event that brought together climate knowledge, Brazilian music, and community dialogue.
Curated by climate researcher and artist Ayobami Badiru, in collaboration with
– Ana Flávia Boeni and Maysa Lima (environmental experts)
– Pedro Bortoluzzi and Mael Anhangá (guest musicians)
the evening focused on the theme:
“Brazilian Popular Perceptions and Social Participation in the Climate Crisis.”
Through live performances of Brazilian songs and personal reflections, the event explored how climate change is perceived and resisted by marginalized communities — including rural workers, Indigenous peoples, and forest defenders — whose voices are often left out of global climate narratives.
As part of the evening, we also shared a beautifully designed booklet featuring translated song lyrics, scientific context, and reflections on climate justice and cultural identity. The booklet remains available for those who would like to revisit or explore the themes in more depth — you can download here.
ZuKlima was not just about raising awareness — it was about connection, care, and creating space for climate dialogue that is both political and deeply human.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this evening so meaningful.
