Ishmael Yao Nuworkpor known in showbiz as No Body is a music producer and an artist. No Body is a Ghanaian and the owner of MMC NORTH K. (formerly MMC; on Facebook, Youtube) based in Ghana, Accra - North Kaneshie - to be precise. The name No Body defines not just his physique as a skinny guy but his music and lifestyle as well.
After completing high school in 2008, he had a 1 year Diploma in MSCE from 2009 to 2010. He's always loved music but wouldn't settle on music until 2010. He has been writing songs, poems & short stories in his room. He was also learning music production via youtube videos & more research into music online.
2011 he left university to try a life abroad but fortunately found the deal to be scam so he never left.
2012 he was supposed to go back to university but spent his school fees on promotion. It was the first song he ever recorded in a studio with two other artistes that he had a verse on. The title of the song was "She Dey Blow Me". They promoted "She Dey Blow Me" on a few radio stations, local bars, clubs & pubs with a couple dance videos uploaded on YouTube.
2014 after great feedback from "She Dey Blow Me", George Galazy the C.E.O. of TRYE Records gave No Body the opportunity to manage his studio and that studio happens to be the same recording studio he did his first recording.
His aunt, Dzifa would learn to know a new friend at a university conference in Germany & he, Schusetta, from Cologne happened to be a conscious HipHop rapper. Dzifa told Schu about No Body & his music. Due to this, both artistes got in touch and began chatting via whatsapp.
Schusetta, was studying PhD in Social anthropology and he was coming to Ghana with other German colleagues to conduct a research. No Body would assist Schusetta with his research work. Moreover they did a lot of songs for a joint album they look forward to releasing soon.
They shot their first video to the song "Saneba" in Keta where Schusetta & No Body did most of the research work. Saneba was on some TV stations & also available on YouTube. No Body made money from the research work and as wise as he is, he saved for the future. He gave some monies to Schusetta to buy a couple of studio equipments upon his next return from Germany.
2015 No Body registered MMC (Money Matters Citywation) as an entertainment company and rented a space to get a studio up & running. He now has a studio he barely stayed as he is compelled to find more money to invest. Schusetta and No Body were balancing research work & music projects which was very difficult.
In 2016, on behalf of MMC artist, Lord Paper, he released a sexually explicit video called "Awurama" which became talk of the country to the extent it was being discussed in parliament & beyond. This video brought MMC & himself to a new phase in music & entertainment generally. No Body had to put research on hold to follow up on this new phase that came with different demands from the media but most especially money matters as he would come to learn.
He went back to research in 2017 but traveled to Germany later in the year on family visit. He lived with his aunt Yvonne and her German husband René and daughter Elormina in Kiel. He also occasionally lived with his mother and three siblings in Hamburg.
He visited Schusetta in Cologne and they had the opportunity of working with producer friend called Dusty Jones in Duisburg. They spent the night at Rock & Soul Studio in Duisburg of which they recorded a song called "The Purpose" and with help from Schusetta's video director, they shot videos to The Purpose and video to a freestyle song he recorded in Schusetta's apartment in Cologne called "Be Careful"
No Body returned to Ghana 2018 to renovate the studio, renamed it to "MMC NORTH K." and rented out a space they used for their performance & vocal training.
2019 MMC NORTH K. increased community influence and this was achieved through a song called "Represent" with Schusetta and over 30 others from the community. Represent helped them host an event in the community dubbed "After Silence" that saw a lot of people in attendance.
All his songs are released under MMC NORTH K. MMC NORTH K have a few singles online such as Legend, North K. Money, Magana, Mina Minie, Wobekumi, The Purpose, Fork EveryBudDi, No Compro etc and they are working on albums. Also, with the help of the team, No Body is looking at growing MMC NORTH K. and expanding the brand to greater heights and a worldwide entertainment house.
