Themenfeld: Soziales und Kultur
Abschlussveranstaltung mit dem Eine Welt Forum Freiburg und Solidarity City Freiburg am Sonntag 17.2., 11-13 Uhr
Gemeinsam blicken wir auf unsere Erfahrungen - während des Symposiums und anderswo. Anschließend umreißen wir die Konturen einer gesellschaftlichen Zukunft, in der es möglich wird, dass keine Beziehungen und sozialen Strukturen mehr von Rassismus bestimmt sind. Für verschiedene Bereiche entwerfen wir gemeinsam Konturen einer postrassistischen Stadtgesellschaft.
Die Ergebnisse für das Themenfeld "Soziales und Kultur" sind in den obigen Bildern festgehalten und unten zusammengefasst.
Wir brauchen / fordern…:
… im sozialen und kulturellen Bereich mehr Angebote zur Aufklärung und Diskussion!
… eine Quote die mehr Diversität im kulturellen Sektor sichert / fördert!
… Weiterbildung im sozialen, gesundheitlichen und therapeutischen Bereich: z.B. Psychotherapie, Sozialarbeit! → Vermittlung durch PoC
… Eurozentristische Strukturen in der Schule durchbrechen z.B. in Form von einer vielfältigeren Darstellung von Kultur! → mehr Quellen von marginalisierten Gruppen / Teilen der Bevölkerung behandeln
We need / demand…:
… a more inclusive art scene, both financially and culturally! → start with youth productions (young orchestra/ theatre + school productions)
… commissioners for anti-racist approaches in editorial teams of media productions and newspaper (especially concerning language, images and “frames”)!
… More diversity on stage and more diverse audiences!
… More cultural and social representation!
… more accessible resources for a multi-cultural society!
… a world free from stereotypes and judgement (“they are this way because of their culture”)!
… encouragement of migrants to present their culture (music, literature, dance, cuisine, religion)!
… Audience development through diverse programme: bands, concerts!
… Accessibility (ticket prices) make it less exclusive!
… a society where my work doesn’t have to have my ethnicity “shining through”!
… New literature, TV-programs, films etc. that do not reproduce racist / sexist / hurtful ideas and content!
… to decouple the connection of infrastructure (site) and audience! (e.g. public auditions, inviting underrepresented groups to stages, audiences)
… understand culture as an endlessly replenishing warehouse!
… make education and culture less Eurocentric!
… Have the courage to write mails etc. to editorial teams of public media organizations and comment on issues you perceive as problematic!
… to stop thinking in boxes and binary categprries – connect and exchange!
